Yeap Yen Chin is the Principal of My Dancesport Studio, a qualified World Dance Council Licensed International Adjudicator, the President of Malaysian Dancers’ Association, Vice-President of Malaysian Ballroom Dancers’ Association, National Coach for Latin American Dance of Malaysian Ballroom Coaches & Competitors’ Sdn Bhd.

She is a pianist by profession, proficient on piano teaching but never venture into it at all, as she preferred to step out of her music seclusion to venture into Latin American Dancing which became her passion and her chosen craft. Her passion for dancing was so immense that she traveled worldwide to take dancing lessons as well as to compete in various International dancing competitions for the consecutive 15 years. As a dancing icon, she also teaches and shares her experiences with her students. She has produced number of Malaysian Latin Champions and students turned * teacher " operating the own dance schools.

In year 2012, she organized the first annual Ipoh International Dancesport Championship. Fortunately, after many years of exposure to different world class dance competitions, she decided to bring the outside world of dancers to Ipoh. She believes through dancing also helps to promote tourism for our city too.

After she retired as a dance competitor, she married to Chun Wai, her dance partner year 2015. Now she is a mother of two children. Combining two dance studios and moved to a bigger studio. Adventuring herself to a new different challenging life, nevertheless, she still determines her mission to promote Latin Dance.
